Happy Days Of Patching Up Sewing Disasters

I was happily showing off my latest home sewing makes to a pal of many years – she was absolutely amazed, and delighted, that I had managed to make some cute little peg bags, pyjamas, lots of tea cosies and pot holders etc.  Some of these are dear to my heart because they took me hours to correct errors I’d made through inexperience and lack of knowledge.  However, every single project has worked out absolutely as I wished and I thoroughly enjoy tackling patterns and getting inspiration from online video experts.  It’s incredible how much information there is out there and I know these days I can simply look up something – any topic, and find exactly the help I seek, within a whisker.   Being confident with crafts was never something I thought about myself, but I knit and sew very happily.  All this started from making scrubs bags for front line staff during the original national lockdown!  From little acorns grow . . . .
