The Repurpose & Reuse Revolution Continues

It’s a funny thing when you’re showing friends and relatives things you’ve made, they either gush all over enthusiastically, or they just shut off, bored and disinterested.  Belonging to the biggest national federation of womens’ groups as I do, there’s very little likelihood of this happening amongst my own true pals.  There’s often competition between us to make the best cushion or tote bag for the next sale table!  We have been helped enormously by the springing up of various sales outlets who now supply an incredible range of different crafting materials.  Not for them just the plain acrylic double knit or 4 ply yarns.  These stores are absolutly choca bloc with different knit jerseys, cotton lawns, upholstery fabrics, matching threads and every conceivable type of sewing and knitting aid known to woman.  It’s been such a fantastic turnaround from pre lockdown when many of these little enterprises had shut for lack of interest.   Long may the crafting revolution continue for our sanity and promoting the repurpose, reuse and recycle!
